What happens with my contributions?

Any contributions made to projects through Crowd9Pitch.com are donations only, and there is no promise or exchange of equity or securities permitted as a result of these contributions. Donations are made to a fund managed by Crowd9 Pitch and will be disbursed to individual teams or companies (minus any applicable fees) shortly after the pitch competition ends.

Why do I have to create an account to donate?

Crowd9Pitch.com provides receipts and records of donations for each donation made on our website. Keeping these records behind a registered account keeps donor information confidential and allows users to easily access their donation history at any time after donating.

Do you store my payment details?

Crowd9Pitch.com does not store financial details like credit card numbers, and instead uses integrated Stripe technology to handle the checkout and donation process. We do however store a receipt of a user’s previous donation history, which can be accessed from the user’s dashboard or via email request.

What if I didn’t receive an email when I registered my account?

Recent email verification measures from email providers such as Gmail or Yahoo may prevent emails from Crowd9 Pitch from reaching your inbox or may send them to Spam or Junk folders instead. If you have trouble receiving the necessary emails after 30 minutes, you may contact us directly to authenticate your account.
