It is important to remember that through Christ, we are all divine and have a light inside us that is meant to shine. XquisiteIce jewelry is just a reminder of that. Our mission is to bring elegance and elevation into your presence through jewelry, allowing young women to shine with our jewelry adding to their divinity.

Pitch Summary

Hi everyone! My name is Shamya Jones, and I am the founder of the jewelry brand XquisiteIce Avenue. Have you ever had a jewelry product turn your skin green? How about it tarnishing after you just purchased it two weeks ago? Have you ever struggled to find a nice staple piece for an event? What about the time when you were in such a rush getting ready and the clasp to your necklace broke as you were putting it on?

We’ve all been there and these are all the issues that we run into when buying cheaply made jewelry, but don’t worry XquisiteIce Avenue solves these problems. We provide the solution through the selling of high-quality jewelry at an affordable price.

Founded in 2020, I created this brand for young women like myself to look how they feel, exquisite. Beauty comes from within so jewelry can only enhance one’s radiant energy. Every woman wants to feel beautiful both inside and out. The problem is that not only does it get expensive, but the quality of products that are marketed to us typically lacks luster and doesn’t last. Therefore, instead of reselling jewelry, we are expanding to make our own sustainable products. Our products are available to all but are specifically for women transitioning into adulthood (usually between the ages of 16 and 24 years old). This demographic makes up 27% of jewelry buyers, runner up from 25-34 year olds at 35%. With young women making up more than a quarter of jewelry buyers, they deserve access to durable products.

Through experience from launching XquisiteIce Avenue in 2020 and continuously looking for ways to improve, I’ve learned that most customers generally are looking for a product they can wear with confidence no matter the occasion. This typically looks like nice earrings, a dainty necklace, a ring or two, and a bracelet. What our customer desires is a one-stop shop where they can get all their jewelry needs, both everyday jewelry and pieces for events, they want real and better jewelry.

The biggest challenge faced trying to make this vision come to light is reducing costs to maintain affordability for the customer. One solution to this problem will include surveying and questioning women in this demographic on how much they’re willing to spend on jewelry. Another solution includes mass-producing customized jewelry to reduce the cost per unit. Our jewelry will continue to be sold directly to the customers through our online channels at a price point, with Instagram being the main reach for our consumers based on our store analytics.

After extended research and testing through reselling jewelry products on our site, we know what material provides the best quality for our products, what customers want, and what resources and partners will be needed to make our brand flourish.
